Yeah yeah my life is dull... but every once in awhile I overhear something worthwhile.
At the latest Ren Faire:
"Cupid is my cousin!"
~Emma, dressed as a fairy and running around with a bow
"I'm going to go deflower the trees."
~ED , do you really wanna know?
(just teasing she had decorated the trees with flowers earlier in the day.
"HIP, HIP, *snore*"
~The entire ren group after the fair... we gathered at the Tav for wings and D&D... someone forgot the dice >.> (What I really want to know is why does only one person have dice?)
Recently at work:
"Here at nwa we like peanuts."
~Nick (He could have just said nuts, I think we all qualify n.n)
At the grocery store:
me: "I don't need a bag."
Clerk: "Saving the planet! That'a girl!"
And finally... I honestly had a customer who called in and, no lie, her name was Lolita. I tried very hard not to laugh.
